Cyberjaya, 28 November 2019 – Students from Bachelor of Communication (Hons) in Corporate Communication of Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech Mara, Kuala Lumpur (KUPTM KL) has organized a project called “Millennials : Innovate For Change”. Besides, it is parallel with current issue concerning men abusing women physically, emotionally, verbally, financially and including other forms.
Millennials : Innovate For Change is a conference where there are numbers of professional speakers such as Dylan Dev, 18 who is the Head Chair of Monetary Fund (IMF), Rajiv Syarif (Vice Chairman of Indonesian Students Association International Islamic University Malaysia, Izzana Salleh (Co-Founder of Girls4Girls Malaysia) and Puan Siti Norilah Shamsul Bahril who is the Vice President of Financial Literacy ASNB. This project targets men because men need to be the protector instead of oppressing women.
They deliberate on numerous issues that women are facing at home and in the working industry, publicly and privately. Millennials : Innovate For Change empowers, uplifts, supports women and educating men on how to treat their women like real queens.
There are workshops for men to understand and to get better insight from women related to the current issues and how to overcome it. Special slot is also introduced to find inner peace through yoga practice by professional yoga practitioner from Yin and Sound healing, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.
